The Seminars
for Better Heroing!
A project which has taken a lot of time, love an attention: the Seminars for Better Heroing is the most recent release by myself, my group Animated Minds for Animated Times, and the circle of artists and writers therein. A labor made in the margins of time over several years, Seminars is an affectionate parody of the superhero genre, from the point of view of two retired characters who could almost have come straight out of a comic themselves.
Seminars is a Visual Novel - not quite an animation yet - which entertains by guiding the audience through these characters' vivid recollections of their past - of scenes reminiscent of the superheroes we love - and their almost childish attempts to outwit each other even in the present. In the future, it is hoped to bring this project into full animation with several episodic adventures following Rudy Royce and Tiberius Tibble, as well as additional side stories and prose.
